This combines a powerful playback engine and an engaging UI that scales up to 10 feet in size. Plex fans will be thrilled to hear that an official Plex Desktop app for Linux is now available to download – though for now, you can only get it from the Snap Store.Īlongside the debut of this long-awaited Linux desktop app (more on it in a second) is a ‘buttery smooth’ TV mode in Plex HTPC (pictured above).
